I went in for help because I was puking and spitting up - there was blood in it. They did not take me serious. The MA laughed at me infront of me and said β€œare you sure it’s blood” while continuing to giggle. I left and went to another doctor to find out my tonsils had been bleeding causing the mixture of puke and blood. Disgusting behavior from a doctors office and β€œprofessionals”. I understand the MA was young, but she definitely has a lot of learning to do and she was learning that behavior from the others at this practice. I’m sick of healthcare providers doing all the talking and gossiping and none of the helping.

Originally, I did not want to leave a review, but I feel like people need to know what is going on and what patients like myself are experiencing. This has been one of the most frustrating experiences I’ve had with a medical office. During my first visit last year, I was assigned a primary care provider, Sushma Prathipati. Recently, when I called because I was not feeling well, I was told she was no longer with the office. I was never notified of this change. So for nearly a year, I’ve been under the impression that I had a primary care provider who was no longer there. That lack of communication is unacceptable. At the time of my initial visit, full blood work was done. I was never contacted with the results, no one reviewed them with me, and to this day I have not had a follow-up with a provider. That alone is extremely concerning. While actively sick, I had to request a new provider. I was placed on hold for 30 minutes and eventually given an appointment scheduled weeks later. Leading up to that appointment, I received daily text messages asking me to confirm. I confirmed multiple times. The day before my appointment, they called while I was unavailable. I returned the cal

It’s extremely unfortunate this is the only emergency room by me . EVERYTIME I come here I have waited over 4 hours just to get my vitals done . No one will say anything to you . They will let you sit there for hours in pain ! I’ve had multiple panic attacks here and no one has ever helped me . I was refused an ice pack ! An ICE PACK ! There has been multiple times they tried to put me in psych because of anxiety! Worst experience of my life ! I dread coming here ! Sucks we have to trust these people with our lives .

When my dad went to Ellis primary care he had Covid, failing kidneys, pneumonia, a major bowel obstruction, dehydration, dementia and low oxygen levels. They said he did not present any symptoms and turned him away. After 2.5 weeks in the hospital and two surgeries his dr ordered blood work to check his kidney damage. His primary care dr never gave us the results and we gave to schedule a phone appointment to get the results. His visiting nurse had to get another dr to look at his urinalysis results. She never looked at them after five days!

It was a case worker at Ellis Hospital who chose my PCP and scheduled the appointment for me. I didn't see the doctor selected, because they pawned me off on an NP. At my first appointment she was supposed to submit 4 prescriptions for me. She forgot to submit 2 of them, or just plain didn't bother, and of the 2 scripts that she did submit, one (my insulin) was incorrect, and on top of all that, she sent them to the wrong pharmacy. The pharmacy tried for a week to get ahold of her to fix the script, and in the meanwhile I ran out of insulin. I had to call and leave 2 messages to get her to finally correct the script. I had just spent 11 days in the hospital for DKA, and she felt no sense of urgency in getting me my insulin and diabetic supplies. I finally got a script for my test strips and needles 2 months later. She did not give me any refills, so the pharmacy contacted her for approval when it came time to renew the scripts. She denied the request. It is not easy to get an appointment with an endocrinologist, so I really needed at least one refill to hold me over until I could one. I ended up buying them on eBay, rather than beg her for them. I never needed medical c
